What does a life following Jesus look like?
Join us in exploring six unique characteristics that have defined people of faith for hundreds of years. As it turns out, they also happen to be six things that make Crossroads, Crossroads. Check out the videos below to hear Crossroads' veterans telling tribal stories about how we have always lived out these values.
WE RUN to the lost, the hurting, the hungry, to those who are asking questions and seeking truth. We will do anything short of sin to reach our friends and neighbors. We believe everyone has a seat at God’s table.
WE GO outside our walls to serve the forgotten and the marginalized. We believe we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus on earth.
WE LAUGH as often as possible. The world wants to beat us down and leave us helpless — laughter is our way of saying NO to despair and YES to joy. We don’t take ourselves too seriously. We believe God has a sense of humor and that farts are funny.
WE CHALLENGE ourselves and each other to get out of our comfort zone and do hard things. We believe that God uses any struggle and adversity we face to sharpen us, grow us, make us stronger and take us to new places we can’t get to from our couches.
WE SACRIFICE everything for the cause to go the way of Jesus. We believe everything we have is from God and for God. So we give our time, talents, and money. We choose to die empty.
WE ENDURE, through any struggle we face. Jesus overcame the world so when things are hard, we push through. When we get knocked down, we get back up again.
