This is the group guide where questions are based on specific Bible passages from the weekend message. Each week, your group will explore what God might be saying to you and how you can respond through group discussion.

1. What’s the strangest place you’ve ever visited?

2. What stood out to you most from the message?

3. What is one way you sometimes try to set yourself apart from the people around you?

4. What can make the idea of commitment difficult or uncomfortable for you?

5. When was the last time you were generous? What did you think or feel in that moment?

6. Read 2 Samuel 24:21-24.

   What is your reaction when you hear David’s response to Araunah’s offer? How would you want to respond if you were David?

7. What is something you want more of in your life? What is something you want to see more of here on Earth? In the people you love?

8. What’s one step you can take this week to surrender and sacrifice something to God?

9. Let’s end our time praying together. You can say something like;

   “God, thank you for wanting to know us and bless us. Please hear our worries and hopes, and give us wisdom and courage to surrender to You. Amen.”
