Nicaragua is a beautiful, lush, green country, and is home to some of the most humble, loving people you’ll ever meet. It’s also one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere, where nearly half of the population lives in poverty. Many lack access to essentials like clean water and quality education, significantly affecting their health, well-being, and future opportunities.
IMPACT
You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the community, rolling up your sleeves to dig water lines, build bathrooms and wood-burning stoves, assist with community agriculture, and work with students at a local school. Your efforts will help improve the health and well-being of these communities while fostering relationships and sharing God's hope.
Additionally, if you sponsor a child through Compassion International, you may have the chance to meet that child during a Compassion Fun Day.
