It’s also one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere, where nearly half of the population lives in poverty. Many lack access to essentials like clean water and quality education, significantly affecting their health, well-being, and future opportunities.
IMPACT
Specifically designed for high school students. You’ll work side-by-side with local, remote communities to bring meaningful life change. Whether digging trenches to bring clean water to remote villages, helping with community agriculture, or working with students, you'll make a tangible impact on the lives of others while broadening your perspective and building teamwork & leadership skills. You'll also visit the Amigos Academy to experience the difference made by access to quality education.
