Senior Getaway is a 24 hour experience specifically for those 60+ who are looking for community and a deeper connection with God.
Designed by seniors for seniors. This getaway is designed to help you identify those God-given gifts and experiences (both what you’ve learned to do AND not do) that can make you a beacon of hope for future generations. Let us help you uncover how God has been moving in your life, revealing His purpose for this season, and guiding you to leave a lasting impact. Through reflection, connection, and inspiration, discover how God is using your experiences, talents, and faith to write the next chapter of your legacy. Spend time discovering how your journey continues to unfold.
It will be held at Higher Ground, a retreat and conference center located in West Harrison, Indiana, that offers a Lodge in a serene location. The onsite lodging options include 48 Lodge rooms with either two double or two queen-size beds with an ensuite bath. These rooms will be released in January, first come.
Another option is to come for the day or stay in the hotel, only 7 minutes away in Harrison, OH. Rooms have two queen beds or one king.
It can be uncomfortable to spend the night in a new place, but we know in an immersive experience you grow in big ways. Step out boldly. Receive what God has for you—we see you and we are cheering you on.

Is there flexibility to come and go?
There is a daytime option, but recommend you plan to be at Higher Ground on Tuesday from 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM. And then be back on property on Wednesday by 8:00 AM for breakfast. This event is great programming but even more about community.

What is a Getaway?
A Getaway is an event, but slightly different from a Crossroads Camp (although in the same family). It is an event that is planned for overnight, as well as day participation. It is meant to build community, provide opportunities to grow in relationship with God while engaging in solitude, teaching, worship and prayer. It is an adventure but with a little less physical challenge and a bed with a private bathroom.
